ACTIVITIES
Monthly Plenary Meetings
Open plenary meetings are held usually the THIRD FRIDAY OF THE MONTH (September to June) and are open to both members and non members. The venue is St.John's Church Hall, Blinco Grove, Cambridge, CB2 2RN (Off the corner of Hills Road/Blinco Grove, Cambridge) at 7.00 for 7.45pm. Click this link for directions.
Typically there will be a talk, followed by questions, details for the subject of talks can be accessed by the plenaries link above.
Previously we have considered various subjects presented by a variety of guest speakers and members, such as-
Conscience and the Unconscious in Jungian therapy ~ James Hillman, the Man and his Myth ~ Forum on Jungian Themes _ Islam and Integration ~ Energy, Spirit and Consciousness ~ The Shadow in Personal and Cultural Spheres ~ Christianity and Jungian Psychology ~ Opposites and Complementaries ~ The Arts, Popular Culture and the Unconscious ~ Holy Spirit, Human Spirit: the Transcendent Function ~ Star Trek and the Collective Unconscious ~ Where is the Underworld? ~ Near Death Experience ~ An Introduction to Jung.
Many Plenaries are recorded on video or audio tape and may be hired by members for a nominal fee.
Small groups
Are made up of varying groups of members to share an exploration of any link subject. These groups are generally autonomous in so far as meetings venues, times and their approach to the focus after endorsements by the committee. At present they are -
Alchemy and Individuation ~ Creative Arts ~ Dream Sharing ~ Spirituality ~ Study of Joseph Campbell's 'Hero of a Thousand Faces'.
Workshops, seminars and other events
These are arranged during the year on subjects of interest to members, though guests can sometimes be invited. Details of these are announced in the Members Newsletter or at the Plenary. Previous workshops have looked at a wide variety of topics including -

Yearly Summer Party
Once a year there is usually a summer party in a member's garden
